Extensive Migration Experience (10+ Years) :
Over a decade of experience in leading and executing a wide range of IT infrastructure projects throughout India. This includes deployments of servers, storage systems, operating systems, engineered systems like Exadada, Oracle Database Appliance and SPARC Super Cluster, private cloud Appliances and high-availability solutions for projects ranging from small deployments to large-scale implementations exceeding 50 hardware and software components. Project durations varied from 2 days to 3 months, depending on the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Statement of Work (SOW).

Streamlined On-Premise Deployments :
Developed and implemented an efficient "golden image" approach for on-premise deployments. This involves completing a single, meticulous installation and creating a standardized image stored in a centralized repository. Remaining nodes are then automatically configured using this image, ensuring consistent configuration and simplifying future re-installations. This approach minimizes downtime and streamlines the deployment process.

Cloud Implementations :
Project #1: Successfully delivered a multi-million greenfield implementation project in Google Cloud. This project involved implementing a real-time consumption data analysis platform leveraging IoT-based Smart Electric Meters, a centralized Meter Data Management System in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a High-Availability (HA) solution across multiple zones. The comprehensive solution included components like IPSec tunnels, Oracle Data Guard, Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE), Compute Engine instances, Cloud Storage, Gateways, Commvault backup, Zabbix monitoring, and HBSS/VAPT security measures.I Collaborated effectively with stakeholders including OEMs, System Integrator (SIs), and application developers to design high-level and low-level data flow architecture. Successfully provisioned, configured, and hardened VMs in Google Compute Engine (GCE) and GCVE ahead of the agreed time. This rapid deployment enabled to increase the client's confidence on us and strengthen the relationship.

Project #2: Delivered a successful Lift-and-Shift migration for Oracle India, the first such project of its kind for an Italian-American multinational automotive manufacturer. This project involved migrating the company's Dealer Management System from on-premise infrastructure in India to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with primary site in Frankfurt and a Disaster Recovery (DR) site in London. The project also included a cross-platform migration from AIX to Linux 7. The OCI solution utilized compute instances, cloud storage, cloud routers, Oracle Data Guard, and rsync replication technologies.
Executed the entire project remotely via Zoom during the COVID-19 pandemic, successfully managing communication and collaboration with stakeholders across India and Pakistan. This project served as a valuable reference point for subsequent cloud engagements, leading to new business opportunities.

Data Center Migrations :
Managed numerous data center migrations for clients, encompassing both relocations within the same data center and complete transitions to new facilities.
These migrations are driven by factors such as new hardware procurement, cost optimization, office proximity, and regulatory compliance.
I follow a meticulous approach which ensures minimal disruption during data center migrations.
